Website and logo for alternative healthcare provider seeking something different and not typical of other acupuncture clinics, e.g. bamboo, needles, or an overused asian-style font. East West’s website also needed a revamp from an older website we had done for them years ago and so we approached it anew and did a total revamp of structure and look and feel, resulting in a fresh new site that is faster and easier to navigate via mobile.
For the logo, we took inspiration from wax seals, found in both eastern and western cultures. The seal surrounding the “EW” is derived from a lotus flower motif found in Asian artwork.
For the new website we implemented the following:
- Content sections on the home page that summarize the most important pieces of content, with links to inner pages.
- Bold call-to-action buttons on all pages that urge customers to schedule an appointment and directs them to a third-party scheduling provider.
- Animations for map and text for visual appeal
- Easy accordion buttons for lengthy pages
